CFPB Report: March 25, 2026
Our objective was to assess the CFPB's efforts to implement information technology portfolio management; adoption of enterprise governance, standards, patterns, and processes for information technology life cycle and architecture; and a strategy and execution plan for information technology modernization. In March 2025, we placed this project on hold due to significant changes in the CFPB's operations. Because of ongoing uncertainties in the CFPB's operations, including litigation that will affect the issues to be analyzed in this review, we are now formally closing this evaluation. However, in accordance with the requirements in the IG Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014 reporting guidance, we will assess whether aspects of this review may be reinitiated at the appropriate time.
