Bureau purchase cards were used for some 3,900 transactions worth $2.7 million from June 30, 2018, through September 30, 2019. We analyzed the risks of illegal, improper, or erroneous purchases and payments.
The results of our assessment show that the risk of illegal, improper, or erroneous use in the Bureau's purchase card program is low. As a result, we will not include an audit of the purchase card program in our 2020 annual audit plan.
